Jodel D140 For Sale - Permit to 23/05/2024

Well, actually, the aircraft documents show it designated as a D14. It was a homebuilt completed in 1999 as a two-seater before the PFA ( now LAA ) could administer the building of four seat aircraft. The builder very thoughtfully built the aircraft minded to upgrade the aircraft to a four-seater once the PFA became able to administer 4 seat aircraft. Sadly the builder passed away and I was fortunate in buying it. I applied to the PFA to alter the designation to a four-seater and this was all approved without a hitch thanks to the builder s thoughtful provisioning during the build. I had very little more to do apart from bolting in seat belts for the rear seats the builder had drilled all holes, etc. during the build! I naively thought this would make the aircraft a D140 but, as explained to me by the PFA, once documented as a D14, always a D14!

The log books currently show airframe and engine hours totalling under 330. The engine is a Lycoming O-360-A4M solid crank, new in 1999. Gross weight is 1200kgs, the Basic Weight 679kgs. Fitted is a Funkwerk ATR883 COM and Funkwerk TRT800A Transponder.
