New piston rings fitted and barrels honed. Valve and seats lapped.
Latest LAA flywheel clamping mods using Nordloc washers and modified spreader plate.
New prop bolts fitted with upgraded AN365 locknuts.
Carburettor induction intake with flow straightener and smooth induction pipe fitted to improve mixture balance.
New engine air intake port added to engine cowling for improved engine performance and head cooling.
Running on 100LL Avgas with unaltered ignition timing to improve ring and valve lubrication.
Skins in overall good condition with a few patches and local repairs.
Based Banbury area. Hangerage may be continued by new owner.
Flies nicely but proper coordination and speed control is essential in turns with the S6 as its easy to lose speed quickly.
Servicing and inspections ongoing as the aircraft is being flown whenever possible.
Cowling and wheel spats need repainting with some small cracks present on the Lexan windshield .
