Microlight, was built by the technical engineering teacher and senior pupils at a private school in the South East. It is a Grass Strips Aviation Ltd UK version of the American Airdrome Aeroplanes famous Fokker E111
Eindecker, a First World War aeroplane. It is a 3/4 scale aircraft which easily fits into a single car garage or 20ft container. It has been beautifully built and the kit is complete less engine, propeller and rudimentary flying instruments.
The airframe needs covering for which 30 yards of 1.6 oz Poly- Fibre is supplied together with finishing tapes etc.
There are a small number of these delightful aeroplanes in the UK and many more in the USA.
It is suitable for finishing with electric propulsion or a number of lightweight two or four stroke petrol engines. The aeroplane comes with a highly detailed construction manual, a radial ring to streamline the engine, disc brakes and control systems. It is on offer by a LAA approved Light Aeroplane Inspector.
