MW5 2850This MW5 aircraft is one of very few folding wing variants of Mike Whittaker s popular single seat design. The type offers open cockpit 3axis flying on a budget, especially when registered as SSDR. The folding wing offers easier rigging and storage.
The construction of this particular example was begun by apprentices under supervision and has been virtually finished to a high standard by its current owner.
It is fitted with a brand new Rotax 532 which does require finished wiring and running in .
The owner is an experienced builder and flyer of flexwing aircraft who was going to undertake differences training but has now had a change of plan hence sale.
