Very low hours for age.

Airframe 595hr 50mins
Engine 190hrs 5mins

Hours will rise a little, as it will be in use until I get a 2 seater, or it's sold.

It has been kept fully rigged all its life in a dark hangar. The wing is in exceptional condition. Fabric is really nice and taught.

The engine was replaced Mar 2013 with a Rotax 503, twin carb, dual spark engine, hence the low hours on it. And it runs like a dream.

It has the 65ltr tank fitted for long trips

Grab yourself a bargain. Flying doesn't get much cheaper than a SSDR flexwing.

I bought this purely to do my solo hours for my licence and then build a few more hours before stepping into a 2 seater and taking friends and family flying. That time has arrived, so I'm now selling my Alpha to make space for a 2 seater. Would love to keep it and have a 2 seater as well, but space will not allow at my airfield unfortunately.

She is currently hangared at Crowland airfield, near Spalding. Airfield is operated by the Perterborough and Spalding Gliding Club
