Built in 2009 at a cost in excess of 90,000 in collaboration with the late Jean Delemontez and winner of the best home build trophy in France, running the fabulous Wam 120 diesel engine with the MT v/p prop gives unbelievable all up short field performance and 120 knot cruise at 18 litres an hour sipping jet a1 at 1 per litre, latest 6 hole (not lifed) chambers fitted with around 800hrs tbo remaining and a complete inhibited spare engine with 900 hrs tbo, extensive spares to include complete fire wall forward installation, engine, prop, bearer, cowlings etc. spares value approx. 50.000
Total time A/F is around 400 hrs and engine time is around 200 hrs
When I bought this Mascaret it was to be my forever aircraft, I have amassed enough spares to see me through to hanging my headset up! (around 2000 hrs) but a change of circumstances and 2 children that want to fly with dad every weekend! necessitate this very reluctant sale, if I could keep this Mascaret and a 4-seater it quite simply would not be for sale.
