Kitfox 3,500Reluctant sale of an excellent Kitfox Mk2 project. I bought this aircraft for restoration nearly three years ago, but with the project still not started due to other commitments and health limitations, I have to be realistic and accept that I need to pass this on to a new owner.

The low-hours (349 hours) airframe is in great condition, the fuselage having been treated with two-part epoxy paint by the last owner. In October 2016 a new permit was issued although the log book shows the aircraft was not flown again after this renewal. I understand that this aircraft was originally equipped with a Rotax 582, although in more recent years a Jabiru 2200 was fitted. This engine was sold on separately by the previous owner, so needs engine and prop.

There are two engine cowlings, one is carbon fibre to suit a Jabiru and the other is fibreglass to suit a 582. There is also a 582 engine mount.

Wings and empennage are covered with Polyfibre, not Betts tested but I had planned to recover all flying surfaces with Dacron anyway. All metalwork appears to be in very good condition.

Matco Disc brakes. Maule tailwheel.

5-minute one-person wing fold, so simple storage with potentially reduced hangar costs.

Two wing tanks and one fuselage tank.

Usual range of instruments in panel - ASI, VSI, compass, altimeter, RPM, temp & pressure gauges.
