Description

I sell my 4 year old Vans RV. I used the plane for many international trips and holidays since its first flight in February 2020.
The building and maintenance documentation is up to date and complete. All applicable SB s, Notifications and Letters have been complied with. Maintenance tools are included, together with a Vividia boroscope for inspection and Dynavibe Classic Kit to balance the prop.
The good visibility in all directions is partly due to the relatively aft position of the wings. It climbs well and cruises with 115 kts TAS, using 16 L Super 98, Mogas, Avgas UL91 per hour. You can also use Avgas 100LL, but I never needed to do so. It carries e.g. two people of 90 kgs each, a full 76 L tank and 10kg luggage. The maximum amount of luggage is 35kg. The autopilot reduces workload and provides extra safety. The heating system works well even in freezing conditions. Compared to the RV-12 ULS it is a bit faster, climbs better, uses less gasoline, has more luggage space, a better heating system, and no carburetors to balance and maintain. The cowling can be removed and installed in a few minutes. The plane has friendly and robust flying characteristics and is easy to fly. With its glide ratio of 12:1 and its 41-45 kts stall speed survivability in case of an emergency landing is excellent.
