Description
De Havilland DH-82A Tiger Moth was built by Morris Motors, Cowley, Oxford in 1940. It was taken on charge by the RAF as T7053 at 12 EFTS RAF Prestwick, Ayrshire on the 29th of June 1940. On the 28th of March 1952 the UK G-AMMX was cancelled and the aircraft was sold to New Zealand and registerd as ZK-BAN. This aircraft is currently registered in Australia with the registration VH-RVE.
All AD s are currently up to-date.
Due at next inspection are the mandatory instrument AD next 100 hourly.
This has been a ground up nut and bolt restoration and every piece of wood has been renewed (replaced).
English built, originally from the UK to NZ then on to Australia.
