There are just 74 hours on the Jabiru 2200A engine since a complete rebuild by Kevin Hyam at Camit. At this time the engine was converted to solid lifter and had all recommended upgrades, including new forged piston kit, flywheel clamp kit, new through bolts, new exhaust valves, thermostatic oil cooler adaptor and new camshaft. The engine has been meticulously run in and serviced regularly, with oil changes every 25 hours.

Flap infill panels and flap gap seals have been fitted. These modifications improve the low speed handling and were developed for the Sherwood Scout which is the later version of the aircraft. The aircraft is supported in the UK by The Light Aircraft Company (TLAC)

The aircraft is fitted with Funke Radio and Garmin Transponder. It has full dual controls including toe brakes.

The Escapade wing fold is considered to be the quickest and easiest of any aircraft with no controls to disconnect and the sale includes a custom built trailer which can be towed by an average family car.

It is currently set up as nosewheel but can easily be converted to a tailwheel configuration if desired, and a new Matco tailwheel kit is included in the sale.
