Description
Nice little Piper J3-C with a Continental 65hp engine and metal propeller.
The airplane will need attention in the coming years, as the fabric gets older. It is a nice flying project airplane. This little Piper has had wind damage in 1975, all paperwork was lost at this time.
The frame was reworked and covered with Ceconite in 1976. Therafter the airplane was stored in parts until 1990 and assembled then with necessary repairs and AD's up to date, including new wing struts and forks. First flight after overhaul was in 1991 and the total time of the airplane has been estimated at 3000.
This airplane has been imported to the Netherlands in 2022 and reassembled with new control cables.
