Remarks:
Gear collapse while taxi-ing in 1994. Nothing visible now. The D model is a fixed gear version of the C. You learn to fly it as a fixed gear, then get a kit to convert it to retractable and it becomes a C. This is now a full M20C in every way. Mooney only did this to get more students to buy them in the early sixties.
