Ownership Status:

The present owner is the 3rd owner in total. The aircraft was sold new from factory to its first owner in the South Africa in 08/2007 and became South African ZS registered. The first owner then sold it to its second owner, also a South African company in 08/2016 and such second owner decided to have this Meridian repainted in 11/2016. In 03/2022, the aircraft was then sold from South Africa to Germany and became San Marino T7 registered. The aircraft is company owned and owner flown. The original FAA airframe/engine and propeller logbook are missing which include the delivery of the aircraft to South Africa, however certain documents were reproduced and we are trying to have the original logbooks reproduced. In 10/2011 this Meridian had been parked on the ramp when the brakes of a Yak 52 had failed, having taxied into the RH outboard wing section and having damaged the spinner of the propeller and one propeller blade. The RH outboard wing section had been replaced with a factory new one and the rear wing spar was repaired according Piper factory repair instructions. All repairs conducted after assessment of Piper factory technician, all relevant logbook entries are available upon request It is being maintained on behalf of an experienced Malibu Meridian maintenance facility. Great maintenance status on Chapter 5-30 special inspections!
