A notable feature of the RV12iS is its easily removable wings. Utilising techniques borrowed from high-performance sailplanes, the wings can be detached in under five minutes with the help of two people, making it incredibly convenient for transportation or off-airport storage.

The cockpit of the RV12iS is equipped with a state-of-the-art Garmin G3X Touch system, featuring a vibrant 10.6-inch high-resolution display. This user-friendly system integrates advanced features such as synthetic vision and real-time data for traffic, weather, and terrain awareness, ensuring maximum situational awareness for the pilot.

The split-screen functionality allows you to simultaneously monitor engine parameters and navigation data. For added safety, a backup AVMap EFIS is installed, complemented by a Trig TY96 radio for seamless communication.

Lighting on the RV12iS is also highly versatile. The aircraft is equipped with both navigation and strobe lights, each controlled by a three-position switch. Additionally, the LED landing light has multiple settings, offering both solid and pulse modes, allowing the pilot to adapt to various flying conditions.
