Description

Very nice Baron 55, totally refurbished in 2019, equipped with full Glass Cockpit

This very superior equipped Baron is intended for someone who likes to fly in a modern twin and does not have time to deal with further repairs and modernizations.

The asking price of 296K is the actual amount invested for the repairs and modernization.

The modernization and repairs of the aircraft started in 2019 and the aircraft was returned to service in the summer of 2020.
During this time, the aircraft was stripped and repainted in metallic paint was, the interior was refurbished with new genuine leather and Alcantara upholstery and new insulation was installed to reduce noise and maintain cabin temperature.
Gas door shock absorbers and inflatable door seals were also installed.
New glass was installed in the cabin.

At the end of 2023, the second stage was launched, where new Garmin avionics with
PDF G500TXi with a fully functional preselector for A/P S TEC as the primary STC for BARON B 55 was installed.

Transponders 1 and 2 with ADSB modem and Garmin GTN 750 Xi and GTN 650 multifunctional radios, equipped with internal WIFI Flight Stream 510, were also installed.

For safe IFR flying, the aircraft has a Bendix 160A color radar, Storm Scope WX950 and a GSR56 satellite receiver with satellite phone and SMS capabilities.

For other operational information, the TAS GTS820 device and the built-in TAWS - B terrain information card are used.

The GTN 750 receiver is in the 10W version and Synthetic Vision is running on the G 500.
For audio system GMA 345 is remote to the GTN and is equipped with LEMO connectors for all six places.

For a better overview, an Avidyne EX 500 MFD is also installed, where weather radar is conveniently displayed.

The autopilot is equipped with a GPSS modem.

Along with the avionics, the engines were also overhauled and all equipment such as starters, alternators, fuel pumps, fuel gauges, hoses and all rubber parts were replaced.

At the same time, a Garmin digital engine monitoring system was installed with the engines.

As one of the last additional equipment, new McCauley propellers with an electric DE ICE system were installed and this moved flights with this Baron to the TOP of safety and comfort, where one does not have to worry about the amount of fluid for propeller de-oiling, which was very limiting even with the great performance of this aircraft:
About 12 minutes to reach level of 100 and here fly with a TAS 192 kts TAS with a fuel consumption of 22 - 25 US GAL. This consumption is of course helped by the calibrated GAMI nozzles.

The cockpit is designed as a paperless cockpit, even for a possible co-pilot, with a uAvionix AV-30 Digital Attitude Indicator and a Garmin GI275 on the co-pilot panel with a full display of the terrain, surrounding traffic, maps, etc.
The deice boots on the aircraft were replaced during the painting and the aircraft was completely illuminated with LED lights. The landing lights are equipped with flashing mode.

To ensure safe parking, a set of engine plugs and canopy cover from Bruce is available for the aircraft.

The aircraft is equipped with very high standards and is also very professionally maintained.

If required the owner will arrange FAA registration.
