Additional Features

Sneaky Peak as she is known, was meticulously restored by Piper Cub Specialists, Aero Toiles Aquitaine in 2011 and has been maintained by them ever since.
She arrived in the UK in 1944, on the same ship, as the late Ken Wakefield's L4 Cub, and he makes reference to her in his article" Full Circle".
Along with her history there is a copy of the Pilot Robert Franke's logbook, referencing her flights during the Battle of the Bulge before relocating to Belgium for the Battle of Bastogne.
The logbook gives a day by day account of her flights in the battle zone.
