My gyro is one of only two Rotax 915 powered Sport 17's in the UK and by far and away the highest spec of the two.

My history: After initially gaining a helicopter licence and 250hrs or so of experience, I transitioned to gyros after watching James Ketchell flying one around the world. The concept of flying in trim hands-free, the unbeatable view and incredible versatility just blew me away and I never looked back. Rotax 915 is fuel injected engine. It's perfect for a gyro and in a league of it's own compared to 912 and 914 Rotax.

All service bulletins completed as required.

Just had a prop balance. It was in the green anyway, but now it's spot on.

Brand new front and rear screens. The front developed a small crack next to one of the fixing screws and the rear had some scuffs from passenger entry/exit so I changed both. 400.

I've always adopted a 'no expense spared' approach to the gyro. Anything it has needed and more, it has had. She's been serviced on time, every time and more by a pro gyro engineer.
