EI-CMT is no ordinary 1978 Piper Seneca II. It has been upgraded with an Aspen Evolution 1500 MAX. This full-feature glass panel is easy to use, incredibly capable and will make your VFR or IFR flights much more enjoyable. These PFD/MFD screens have been fitted in recent months, are still under warranty, and offer a photo sharp six pack dual screen replacement. An effective glass cockpit was vital to the role EI-CMT was fulfilling - teaching the next generation of airline and business jet pilots to fly IFR procedures.
Airplane time state:
We will happily send a soft copy of the time life component sheet by email. The main numbers from it are 12226hrs TTAF, 1970hrs SMOH in Sept 2017 on the left engine, and 1474hrs SMOH in August 2018 on the right engine. Both props have 679hrs since fitment in Feb 2021 and the engines have had a strip and rebuild at that time. Under Irish regulations, the engines can run to 2400hrs for flight training giving them the potential of 800 plus hours, and we think given their recent strip and rebuild it will be possible to achieve that.

Interior
The interior was updated in the past ten years with six-place black leather seats piped in red. The carpets are black, with grey and black side walls and there is a six-place intercom fitted.
Exterior
The aircraft was repainted in 2017 in two-pack paint with a black base colour, white top with accent striping. The registration is a decal which makes it easy if you plan to change it over.

With counter-rotating props, there is no critical engine in an engine-out emergency making the Seneca II suitable for training and safer for lower-time private pilots. The Seneca II fulfils a role just above the Duchess/Seminole/Cougar/Comanche in its cost, but offers double rear doors and comfortable seating in the rear. This makes the aircraft ideal for charter, photography, scenic flights, family trips as well as flight training. We would love to show you EI-CMT in the hangar at Cork Airport (EICK) and take some time to go through the logs to show you where the money was spent. The current owner would happily deliver EI-CMT anywhere in the world, it was the aeroplane that was instrumental in building his successful flight training business.
