Description

PA-18-150 L21 with the extended rear glazing. Manufacture in 1957, she has a MAUW of 794kg (1750 lbs).

The aircraft has a tow hook and was used for towing banners in the Netherlands prior to the fitment of a new engine and being brought back to the UK for private use.

Tyres are 6.0 x 8 which give great performance on grass strips. The climb performance is excellent and the STOL capabilities are awesome, in the right hands of course!

The interior is basic but functional and all that is needed for great seat of the pants stick and rudder flying. Fuel system is standard Super Cub, so a tank in each wing at 18 USG each and the correct sightglass and selector valve are fitted. The engine is in excellent condition with compressions in the high 70's. Great starter hot or cold and a smooth runner.

The NARC is valid until the end of Nov 2024. It would be possible to transfer her to the LAA permit system if desired. The aircraft is located in North West Norfolk at the moment and available for viewing by arrangement. (Still in use so total hours will change.)

Airplane time state:
TTSN on the airframe is 9700 hours. TSMOH on the engine is 52hrs following O/H in 2018. Engine is Lycoming O-320-A2B.
