Description

How's this for an off the wall proposal on a sunny Sunday in June... I will swap a real, matching numbers 1969 Pontiac GTO for a flyable aeroplane (preferably a classic of some kind). The GTO is a classic American muscle car from the golden age when they were allowed to make such things, right up there with the Boss Mustang, the Dodge Charger and the AMC Javelin AMX. Fitted with a 400 cubic inch 390HP V8 and automatic transmission, it's completely solid underneath, never had any welding and doesn't need any. The rest is very tidy and presentable, but not perfect. It's worth far more in America than it is over here (GM only made this model for two years) so here's your chance. Swap value 40K (would discount for cash...). It's tax and MoT exempt and completely usable, in a kind of late '60s, rubber burning way. I'll drive it to you, and fly back.
