This Piper Colt belongs to a friend who is hanging up his headset, and we are listing it to help out a man who helped us on the way up. N209SA is a 1961 Piper Colt with 5110hrs TTAF. The 108hp Lycoming O-235-C1B has 1851hrs and 34hrs STOH. The last engine overhaul was 26th July 1967 and the top end was in June 2001. The aircraft was last recovered in July 1994. From May 1980 to the 17th June 2001 the aircraft was restored, and it has been kept in a dark hangar which helps the aircraft enormously. The aircraft was last flown on the 20th June 2008.

Will be a great basis for a restoration, where else can you get a complete undamaged N-reg aircraft for under 10k. We are helping a friend, there is no gain in this for us but we can source local labour to remove the wings for this to be moved by road. It's a very easy aircraft to transport behind a vehicle owing to it's narrow wheel track.
