Description

The Robin HR100/200B Royale is a French four-seat light all-metal monoplane, designed by Chris Heintz and built by Avions Pierre Robin.

Now back for sale with Northair due to the owners change in circumstances, we have known this particular example for over 12 years and it is in immaculate condition having being maintained meticulously throughout its life.

The aircraft was originally purchased new by a consortium of doctors in Geneva and registered as HB-EMT for the first part of its life in Switzerland, during which time it was flown in the Malta Air Rally. The aircraft was later purchased by a time-served Jaguar engineer in the UK and was transferred at this point to the G-Register as G-BXWB and it was his pride and joy for over 15 years. Latterly, the aircraft belonged to a property development company for over 11 years, who used the aircraft sparingly for aerial photography work. During all of this time the aircraft has been kept hangered, originally at Oaksey Park airfield and latterly at Leeds Bradford Airport.

Unlike many Robin aircraft, this is an all-metal design and it undoubtedly feels solid and flies as stable as anything we've ever flown, with the low wing, bubble canopy design offering great visibility from the cockpit.

Benefitting from a 200hp Lycoming engine and fitted with a variable pitch propeller, this aircraft will cruise all day long at 120 knots and would be a great first choice for anyone wanting to enjoy the ownership of their own aeroplane or in the market for a robust and reliable aircraft for touring and general aviation, which is entirely forgiving and a real joy to fly!

Low time engine and propeller and no accident history.

Now offered for sale at 49,950, this is a lot of aeroplane for the money and undoubtedly represents great value.
