This is an original Russ Light biplane and as its 390kg MTOW it is in the 3 axis microlight class but is on the LAA register. Built in 1999 by Kevin Crumplin who is known for his Tiger Moths, it has the non hydraulic lifter Jabiru 2200 engine fitted which has less than 400 hours. Sadly she is a hangar queen but has always been dry stored in my ownership at Barton (City Airport Manchester) where she is available to view if you so wish. I have all of the paperwork, including the engine and airframe logbooks of course, but she has been out of permit for several years. I know of a fuel leak in the wing root fuel tank which needs addressing, but other than that, there is nothing else to my knowledge needed, though clearly advisable that the engine is fully serviced and inspected. She has had her prop turned most months whilst in storage. I do have a purpose made custom trailer for her (galvanised and made according to Russ Light's original plans by a professional trailer builder) so she is transportable by ground and tows behind even a small car... clearly her wings are designed to fold. I have paid over her value in hangar fees over the years but now I have made the incredibly difficult decision to let her go to someone who will love her and fly her once again.Contact Details Gordon Davies
